When your little one is on the move, the extra flexible BabyDan OLAF X Wide safety gate is a great solution for keeping your child away from a staircase, doorway or area in your home. This is a wall mounted safety gate, which means that it’s securely fitted to the wall or doorway with screws. You can extend the gate indefinitely with small and large sections that you buy separately. That’s why it’s ideal for a wide or irregular staircase, doorway, or as a room divider. You can easily pass through the safety gate that you can open with just one hand from both sides.
When used as a fire surround, always place the gate minimum 75 cm (29.6”) away from the source of heat/fire and minimum 90 cm (35.5”) from open fire
Since every fireplace/wood burning stove reaches different temperatures, the placing is only intended asa guide line. Test your own unit at maximum heat output before placing the gate. If the gate is hot to touch, move gate further from heat source than the recommended minimum distance
Should it not be possible to keep the recommended distances, separate sections are available at your supplier
